The Most Underrated Song-Writer bc He's that good

My favorite Jason Boland line is still, "....And I tried to wait with the patience of Job." There is SO much packed into that single line that even the most pretentious music snob would not only not get it, but fail to see the bigger picture Bc it takes a serious understanding of the book of Job to make that reference, but it's so perfect. Every Jason Boland album is full of gems packed into humble melodies, listen closely kids, you'll learn something about yourself. The title track can be heard on YouTube from steamboat, and it's a bruiser. Get ready for some heavy stuff.

Not what I expected

Huge fan of JB’s music but I can’t get into this one. I have seen him a half dozen times in concert and I’m flat disappointed I bought this album. With poor rhymes and no direction, these songs seem like they were cranked out in an afternoon

Took one listen all the way through and will likely not play it again

Great Band!

One of my all time favorite bands. We’ve driven all over Texas to watch em live. Great cd so far, c’mon 18th!
