13 Songs, 53 Minutes

EDITORS’ NOTES

On his first album in 11 years, L.A. underground legend Lizzy Borden returns with a collection of soaring heavy-metal anthems that hark back to his thrilling ’80s heyday. Unlike previous releases, Borden handled all the guitars and bass (and some keyboards) himself, while stacking his impressive vocal range to Queen-esque proportions. Nearly three decades on from his last ’80s classic, “The Scar Across My Heart,” “A Stranger to Love,” and the majestic title track recapture Borden’s glorious past and point to an auspicious future.

Lizzy is back

I’m NOT looking for a heavy album here( even tho that would be great ). I’m looking for lizzys creepy perfect song writing. The first couple songs remind me of master of disguise. Way back when I first heard master of... it was not heavy enough for me. I was a kid looking for fast and heavy. But as the years passed I found myself obsessed with the master album. I look forward to hearing the rest of this album. Love live rock n roll. Long live American metal. See you in tour Lizzy.
