Conscientious hip-hop at its best

With LTDBTD NoMalice shows that he still has the skills we remember from the days in Clipse. With a sharp tongue and verbal wit, he takes the listener through a course on religion, ethics, police brutality, etc...

Make no mistake, the conscientious choice is not a softer choice. No Malice comes at you hard. Whether it's So Woke where he bobs and weaves through recent African American issues and the recent election to Fake News where he lays fault at the feet of the media and record executives.

You don't have to look far to get a sense of his complex thinking: Take the visuals for So Woke for instance: where No Malice takes the viewer through the tragedy of a police shooting and community loss through an eerie apocalyptic mass lynching on an Oak Tree similar to the Famous Emancipation Oak where many African Americans were read Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation. The two scenes together give a sense of a modern day lynching at the hands of those who are to serve and protect. And then to a community protest filled with a diverse group from all walks of life we can only hope is our future: an awakened giant ready to right the ship!
