Something new and different

I love the official versions, but I love getting to hear official releases of Upgrade, who was kind of the "lost member" of the group, mostly existing in recordings of their Balboa Park performances. She has a lovely voice and presence and was a great additional piece to these classics.

I love it

Ive been an SPG fan since the 7th grade. It wasn't until I believe a few years later that I learned about Upgrade(aka: Miss Burke.). I found out about her when I stumbled across a version of "electricity is in my soul" that had her lyrics in it. So, i started digging deep to find the 2009 version. The only things i could find were from mp3 websites.(of course, i did not download them from those sites.) so, to finally be able to hear the full version, and hear miss burke's vocals, is amazing. I especially love "I am not alone." The melody is smooth as butter, and its the only song that has her leading vocals in the album. Her voice and the harmonies create a beautiful noise that almost made me cry upon hearing it the first time. Wherever she is right now, i hope she's doing very successful.

It feels & sounds more whole <3

Whatever Miss Burke is up to now, I wish her well. I'm so happy that her voice was put back into the classic songs! I love the rest of the band too! But I felt as though something was missing. A delicate lady voice to complete the quartet. (Maybe in the future we'll find one like that?) until then, keep doing what you do! <3
