Inspired by The Killers

The Killers' synth-dazzled glam confections opened the door for a whole new generation of dance pop. The Vegas band's unmistakable sound can be heard in the dark, pulsating New Wave of Editors and VHS or Beta, while their pop ebullience inspired the candy-coloured synth-rock of Neon Trees. Meanwhile, Panic! At the Disco's Brendon Urie has taken a cue or two from Brandon Flowers' soaring vocal range and pretty-boy charisma.
