Róisín Murphy Essentials

Over the course of four albums, Irish singer Róisín Murphy and English producer Mark Brydon transformed Moloko into one of music's most adventurous dance duos, blending together house, jazz, drum 'n' bass and rock. Murphy has parlayed the duo's success and her own halting talent and style into a sparkling solo career. Debut album Ruby Blue helped develop her own eclectic sound with the help of Matthew Herbert before 2007's Overpowered, cemented her status as one of the decade's most idiosyncratic pop stars. Nearly eight years would pass before third album Hairless Toys scored significant critical acclaim, including a 2015 Mercury Music Prize nomination.
