Inspired by American R&B as well as traditional and modern Punjabi music, Maninder Buttar has garnered a wide listenership for his heartfelt ballads as well as his ability to easily move between serious and playful themes. First gaining a name as a playback singer in the early 2010s, Buttar carved his space in the pop scene with songs like “Gall Goriye” with firepower rapper Raftaar and “Sakhiyaan”.
