In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My father gifted me the purple Jimi Hendrix box set and it changed my life. The rocking drums, the creative guitar work, the freedom of the live versions compared to the studio tracks. Love the USA to London connection that reflects in his music! What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? George Harrison, All Things Must Pass Bonus Tracks Version Radiohead, Kid A Tame Impala, Currents These albums reflect a before and after moment upon first listening - when first hearing these albums front to back, I studied all of the layers intently and they made re-evaluate what it was I enjoyed about listening to and making music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I loved playing local festivals like SXSW and Echo Park Rising - they make you feel like youre part of a real community made up of super caring and thoughtful people. I was also honored to be played on KCRW, my favorite radio station! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I cant wait to tour the US, both west and east coasts. The rush of traveling, plus the roar of the crowds and the technical challenge of putting together a show is such a thrill - would love to do that every night.
