CASTELL

Swedish electronic producer and songwriter Castell emerged in 2016 on his hit "You Got It Wrong." The bass-heavy house track featured hypnotic bell drops and a throbbing beat, a sound that Castell had utilized in his past work under the moniker SAL. The Stockholm native gained a following in 2014 with his remixes of Style of Eye's "Kids" and "The Game," a pair of tracks by his mentor Linus Eklow (Galantis). After Eklow took him under his wing, Castell entered the studio with Miike Snow to begin recording his own material. "You Got It Wrong" was released in March 2016 and reached one million streams two months later. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
